Digitizing Tapes and Preserving the Kingdom’s Heritage We successfully carried out a massive project for the Library of the International Advertising Company, which included:
- Digitizing and archiving over 40,000 hours of Audio-Video materials, including 21,000 hours of video footage.
- Converting U-matic, VHS, Reel, and One Inch tapes into high-quality digital files.
- Precise content classification using an advanced management system with detailed metadata for directors, engineers, cinematographers, and others.
- Utilizing top-tier hardware and software to ensure content accuracy and integrity.
The project archived over 60 terabytes of data, with 95% of it completed to date.
Supply of Spare Parts and Units – TV Production and Broadcast Center at King Saud University
World Sound & Vision executed a project supplying spare parts and units for the TV production and broadcast center at King Saud University, aimed at supporting the infrastructure of screening halls and technical laboratories.
The project included providing electronic power supply and control units, audio-visual encoding and decoding systems, professional lighting equipped with color filters, and heavy-duty industrial electrical outlets. This project significantly enhanced operational efficiency and technical support for the university’s educational and research systems.
Satellite Guide Magazine: A Legacy of Leadership and Innovation in Saudi Satellite Media
World Sound & Vision proudly recognizes its pioneering role as the founder of Satellite Guide, the first specialized satellite media magazine launched from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab world in the early 1990s, coinciding with the rise of Arab satellite television across the region.
The magazine distinguished itself by providing comprehensive media and technical content, including updates on satellite channel frequencies, reviews of the latest receiver technologies, and extensive coverage of the most important news in the satellite and entertainment sectors. This established it as a key reference for Arab viewers and professionals interested in audio and visual media.
Execution of a Radio Transmission Station Project – Al-Ahsa Region
We undertook a comprehensive project to establish a radio transmission station in Al-Ahsa. The scope included supplying and installing all required equipment and devices, electronic works, electrical power systems, HVAC, fire alarm systems, as well as all necessary civil works.
The project was completed according to the highest technical and engineering standards, with full provision of materials, workforce, and equipment, alongside commitment to maintenance, complementary work, and additional requirements per contract terms.
Implementation of Two TV Broadcast Centers – Al-Tawdhihiyah in Al-Kharj and Al-Sharaf in Tabuk
We established two fully integrated television broadcast centers, located in Al-Tawdhihiyah (Al-Kharj Governorate) and Al-Sharaf (Tabuk region). The project scope covered all electronic, electrical, and civil works, along with HVAC, fencing, security lighting, and supplying and installing all technical equipment necessary for operating both centers. The project was executed with a high level of professionalism and quality, strictly adhering to the Ministry of Information’s requirements and approved contract terms.
Supply and Installation of an Electronic Production Center – Riyadh TV Center
We supplied and installed a modern electronic production center at Riyadh TV Center. The scope included equipment preparation, installation, and commissioning in both the UK and Riyadh, plus training of television staff on the new systems. Spare parts were supplied according to the contract’s specifications and quantities. The project was executed to the highest technical standards, ensuring support for the media production infrastructure.
Sound Production and Distribution
The company held exclusive distribution rights for popular artistic works in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the 1980s, 1990s, and beyond, achieving successful market penetration.
- Distributed more than 300 different artistic works, including those of Umm Kulthum, Abdel Halim Hafez, Abdel Wahab, and others.

We supplied and installed automated paging (bleep) systems across multiple hospitals in Tabuk region, including Tayma Hospital, Haql Hospital, Al-Bida’a Hospital, Umluj Hospital, Al-Wajh Hospital, Duba Hospital, and the Maternity and Children’s Hospital.
The system aimed to enhance the speed and efficiency of internal communication within medical work environments, positively impacting the quality of healthcare services provided.
